Just got my washer out of storage (5yrs). It will power up...the chimes sound normally & display lights up...then shuts right back down a second or few after I release the power button. Display will come on & can change settings IF I hold power button continually. Have tried resetting by unplugging cord & holding power then start button 5 seconds as recommended on several sites as well as holding power button x1-2 minutes per LG customer service. Nothing has worked yet to get the power to stay on.

Could it be the power button switch or relay itself not staying connected when it's released? And if so can it be repaired without replacing the entire display control board?

I have been searching online for a couple of days & have only found one other situation like this. Unfortunately it was from over 10 years ago & had no solution noted.

Thanks for any assistance anyone can give!
