The auger motor stopped working (no noise at all) on our ice maker. The auger itself is free turning. I have done the following:
Switched dip switch on the door with the one on the water dispenser (water still works).
Bought a replacement auger motor (******** - supposedly new)
Bought a replacement control panel - new

None of the above steps has made any difference. I have tried to find a components diagram to see if there are any parts between motor and control panel I may have missed.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

PS I can turn the auger motor using a socket, but it has a lot of resistance. This is true for old and supposedly new motor. Does that sound correct? Thanks
