The compressor wouldnt turn off. I replaced the timer switch with the correct whirlpool
replacement. The chinese original is wired differently but I found diagrams on the web for
this replacement. The fridge worked when I plugged it in but it was doing the same thing..
not shutting off.
Firstly.... what would you guess is the problem with not shutting off???
secondly.....you can turn the screw on the back of the timer.....if you keep turning the fridge will shut off and wont restart. If you keep turning to a diffenet place it will shut off but will start again....but again wont shut off...
There are no markings on the screw to set it to a particular spot......
what is going on???? is 8 years typical of the lifespan for these small fridges..??
