I have seen several threads on this code before, but not for my model number wed9200suo, which is a whirlpool Duet, but different than other model numbers on this thread. Anyone know if I should still purchase the Whirlpool 279973 Thermal Cut Off Kit - AppliancePartsPros.com ? Correction: heating not eating. :) Thanks!

I found this in a previous post "Gene in previous post gave very good diagnosis. For others future reference. The actual problem was that the lint got caught up in the fan cage by coating the fins on the fan hence making it more and more difficult to move the air. thus making dryer real hot and blowing the finger fuse. I had replaced every sensor and limit switch in the dryer for about $35 (still cheaper than calling service man) But, the problem was not with any of the switches or limits It is because the newer cheep made machines do not have the power the old ones had to blow the air out. I had a 35 foot vent run which now that this machine is 1 year old is borderline moving the air out even with a clean vent tube. I purchased a dryer booster to help the dryer push the air out on my so called long 35 foot run. It might be overkill by adding the booster fan but it prevent the dryer from overheating blowing fuses and running clothes sice dryer gets real real hot inside with restricted air flow... In short... if you get the f 25 error code clean you vent line all the way till the end also the blower squirrel cage make sure fins in the cage are completely lint free, Buy another finger fuse you should be good to go... :D"
