When I push the start button on the dryer, it turns on, but then kicks off immediately. I've tried to restart it using all the different cycle options. I also tried to shut the breaker off for the dryer, the turned it back on, went back.... pushed the button on the dryer, same thing .. switches on, then right off again. Not sure what else to check or to do?

Did it stay "on" while you kept the "start" button depressed?
Did it make any noise at start up?
If the first answer is "No" and the second is "Yes" then most likely the motor is gone bad. Unfortunately the motor for this dryer is no longer available.

The dryer only stays on for a split second and no it doesn't seem to make any noises other than normal startup stuff... just kicks right off.

I still believe the problem caused by the bad motor which is no longer available.
