Also
I checked the system pressure at the well pump switch and it shuts off (max pressure) at 45 psi.
This is kind of low already so I did not adjust it.
I planning on throttling the water inlet to the washing machine because this seems to be the only way to stop the leak out the soap drawer but an concerned about the effect on the machine?

Same problem here. It had been going on for about a year when I finally saw the water coming from the soap dispenser. I cleaned everything but didn't fix the problem. I throttled back the water until it was open, only 1/4 turn. It reduced the problem slightly but didn't fix it.
I finally checked the level of the machine and found the installers had not bothered to level it. It was pitched forward about 3/4 to 1 inch lower the front causing any excess water in the soap dispenser to run out the front instead of into the back drain. I leveled the machine properly, and the problem went away. We've used it for about a week now without any leaking.
The installation instructions say nothing about leveling the machine and how important it is to prevent the leak.
I hope this helps someone else to fix their soap dispenser leak.

We are having the same problem. I’ve ordered a new soap drawer assembly. But it’s completely random, though. It does seem to happen most on a rent cycle, and less likely when I mark the soil level as light.

Water is continually leaking from my detergent tray. Even after the power is off...in my Lg profile washer
