I am guesstimating on the age of the dryer. The dryer now sometimes drys clothes, and other times it won't. It doesn't matter on the size of the load. There are no obstructions of air, and the exhaust was cleaned out as well. When I took the cap off to view the flame during a run, I noticed that after a while the flame goes out and then there is a soft orange glow that phases on and off for the rest of the cycle. It seems that there is a problem with the gas staying on. I took some readings on the temperature sensors, and thermal fuse, and they seem fine. I took some readings on the gas coils, and am not sure about the results. On the two terminal coil, I got 1268 ohms. On the three terminal coil, I get 1936 ohms between common and terminal two. Between common and terminal three, I am getting 566 ohms.
What do you all think?
