Hello all,

My Frigidaire gallery ice maker chute door is not closing all the way, which causes frost to build up/clog the dispenser, and water/condensation drips into the drip tray. I just replaced the rotary damper and chute door spring, but after reassembly, if I shine a flash light up the chute, I can see light coming through if I look down from inside the door dispenser. Grrr!

What parts next should be replaced? The ice door bracket looks fine, and the rubber seal/insulation is clean and seems fine. But the door just won't shut all the way, leaving 1/8" open on just one side:

Also, in case someone has the same problem, there is a great video on how to disassemble the chute door here: Frigidaire 241688401 Ice Door Bracket - AppliancePartsPros.com

Thanks!

FYI, I replaced the rubber seal and it fixed the problem. I read that over time they start to lose their flexibility.
