This model refrigerator has a push button for removal of water filter located at the bottom grill. When I changed the filter this last time, the water would not shut off when I removed the filter and water continued to flow from the filter connection. Water flow stopped when new filter was installed.
Ice maker & water dispenser both continue to work when filter is in place.

Does this sound like the filter housing is the problem? I understand this is where the water should be stopped when the filter is removed.

Need help with a diagnosis of the problem!!
