My GE washer model WCXH208H1WW will tumble but not spin. I used a test i found in another link on this forum and with my limited diagnostic skills and an analog meter.... i think its the timer.
My timer is a 131802100H. I see most timers listed as 131802100 ... with no trailing letter, or with a G or F. Does the letter suffix identify a specific version of the timer.. or ?????
I've got a line on a used $25 replacement... but its a different letter suffix... will it work?? or blow up my control board.

first post... rookie member.. so please bear with me if I'm not doing this right.

Update on my DIY fix. It appears that the machine number is a Canadian model number and is throwing my parts search off. I got crossed over to a WSXH208H1WW on another site, and I've had better success with matching things up.

Long story short. I bought another broken Kenmore washer with a noisy pump problem. Since the motor control boards were the same, I did a successful timer and front panel transplant. Who knew that many of these parts were interchangeable between differently branded machines that are actually the same under the panel.
