Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/19/2015(UTC) Posts: 2		we were getting an ocasional runaway element error messages (and burnt food), but they were far apart. and turning the oven off from the control panel worked. Now, the element turns on conatantly unless i disconnect power. The temp sensor seems to accurate temp (and resistence when mesured hot and cold), the heating element (broiler element in lower oven) heats up red hot along the entire element. I see no evidence of shorting.

Still looks like a control board problem re: the lower oven broil relay is always closed. Could be the electronics on the board holding it closed or that the relay's contacts are welded together.
