Replaced agitator after machine wouldn't agitate. Now it agitates but doesn't spin. Motor is spinning but belt isn't . Spins by hand and does spin with help but makes a lot of noise(like it's over loaded). Not sure what's next. Also won't drain all the way. Pump keeps pumping & makes gurgling sound. I can see water level in drum, very low, maybe 1/2 inch

Not anywhere on the unit. 17 years old. 8 cycle, 2 speed Heavy Duty. All I can do is send picture. One harness goes to motor instead of 2 separate ones in newer models LI Rotties attached the following image(s):

I'm told by local Appliance Parts Store that it feel off a truck. I traded my stand-up washer/dryer combo for this unit and a dryer. The model number seems to have been removed before I received it. I've had this unit for 17 years. Any help determined the model would be appreciated

I've determined motor is spinning but the pulley isn't. All works in agitate cycle. When it gets to spin cycle I'm able to help it get started by turning it by hand from top. It makes a banging sound when spinning

You say, spins by hand. Are you spinning the basket by hand or rotating the pulley to make it spin? If spinning basket by hand, is it very difficult or easy? Show closeup photo of motor including motor pulley. There are 4 suspension rods, you see the two in front, there are also two in the back, make sure one of them hasn't come loose from the tub support.

Here's picture & video. Hope it helps. Thanks. Also the suspension rods are in place. When grabbing basket by hand(after bypassing lid switch) while in spin cycle, it is difficult to turn the basket, 2 hands are needed & eventually the motor pulley seems to grab onto the belt and the machine spins making a load knocking type sound LI Rotties attached the following image(s):

Ok, what exactly is happening with the motor when in spin cycle? That clip on the bottom of the motor shaft should be spinning. If it's spinning but the pulley is not, then the clutch is slipping. The clutch is inside the pulley. Rotate the motor pulley by hand in the spin direction. Use two hands as you must keep the pulley going or the brake will stop the tub. Rotating that pulley by hand should cause the belt and large center pulley to rotate, the brake should release and the entire transmission should rotate as should the inner tub. It should be relatively easy to rotate. You didn't answer my questions about spinning the basket by hand though. What normally happens when the belt and large pulley start to rotate is that cam dog moves towards the brake hub dog and this action releases the brake allowing the transmission to rotate which rotates the basket. In your photo, it looks like oil all over the coil spring below the cam but it's hard to tell. If that's oil, then the transmission is leaking. Eric
