Whirlpool accurate stove bake button not working all the time, how can I check if it's button on panel or control board issue?

As far as I know there is no way to check it unless you can find a pin out for the control panel/keypad.

Also it is intermittent so odds are high that it will work when you try to check it.

Looks like holding the bake button for 5 seconds puts the unit into the oven calibration mode so if that works all the time I would try the control board first.
If it is also intermittent then try the control panel first.

In any case either one is a gamble.
