Dishwasher is dripping water where pump and motor are inserted. Is this an O ring problem or does the pump and motor need to be replaced?

I cannot say what is leaking.
Does sound like just a seal problem but you could check this with a flashlight and a mirror.
A mechanics mirror is handy here. It is like a dentist's mirror just larger. In a pinch a small mirror taped to a dowel at an angle will do the job. I have even used one of the wife's makeup compacts.
This should let you see where the leak is originating. |
