Kenmore front loader is having issues. I have power, hit the start button the door locks, but water does not start. In diag mode I can get it to do everything except the 1st and 3rd tests completely (I think those are both cold water and bleach/soap dispenser things).
Is this a control board issue, water dispenser/valve, or the bleach/soap dispenser issue? I think the control board had been replaced about 7 years ago when we first got the unit and it was under warrenty.
Thanks, Matt

I doubt if it is the water valve parts, most likely it is the control unit. But first check the connections and wiring between the door lock assembly and the control unit. If they are ok or reseating everything does not help try replacing the control unit. If you buy it from this site and it does not fix the problem you can return it.

Thanks for the reply there looks to be two control units listed on this site. I guess one says Control Board the other says Control-Electical do you know which one I should try? I think the one is the front panel the other is some place else (that I can't seem to find).
Thanks, Matt

This is the one to try Part number: AP4362527
You are right, there are two electronic control units. The other one is what Frigidaire terms a speed control board and it controls the motor. If often fails but it doesn't seem like your symptoms are from its failure, although if the main control unit replacement does not fix things that is the next thing to try. Yes, we know this sounds like a primitive way to diagnose these problems, but that's often what you have to do in models that have electronics.

That was it, took about 5 or 10 minutes to get it swapped out. Washer is back in business now.
Thanks, Matt
