Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/13/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a whirlpool washer Mdel LA5300XM. For the last few weeks cold water wash does not work as cols water just trickles in and it take an inordinate amount of time to wash. Warm water works just fine. I have also noticed that the rinse cycle in warm wash also takes a long time with water just trickling in. Can you let me know how to fix this. Will replacing the water valve help.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 11/15/2007(UTC) Posts: 189		check the cold water hose to see if there is a screen in it.check up at the tap, and at the other end at the washer valve,make sure the tap is shut off...lol Also check the screen in the valve itself get a small nail and remove the screen,clean and replace .
