I had the same problem with my Maytag Bravos MCT Top Loader - it stopped draining. My wife insisted we buy a new machine. I had the tech come out and trouble shot the problem. He said that a sock was jammed into the drain pump and it needed to be replaced. I had replaced the pump myself a month prior and didn't really trust his diagnosis. I checked myself and found one of the two blue wires had come off. Since the black connector plug only goes in one way, I marked that side and used a pair of those crimp on, female spade-type connectors, flat side to flat side so they fit onto the motor contacts. It worked perfectly and saved me from further cost. Thanks for this wonderful forum!!!
