Hi, We had this dishwasher installed Jan 2012. Over the past year we have periodically had to reset the circuit breaker because the dishwasher would not turn on. Lately, this has been necessary about once or twice a week. Starting last week, the dishwasher now doe not drain at the end of the cycle. When we open the door after the cycle ends, the dishwasher is full of suds and water. Pushing the drain button does drain the tub. We also notice water dripping out the front of the dishwasher due to the high level of water from the water not draining with each part of the cycle. We have checked the drain hose and the drain which is open and free of debris. We had a service man come today and he thought it was "air locked" and suggested we change the drain to the garbage disposal knock-out instead of the wash sink drain. That made no difference and the plumber thinks it is a problem with the dishwasher. Obviously, there seems to be some electrical problem for the past year that requires us to reset the circuit breaker frequently. Could this be a problem with the control panel? The pump works fine when we push the drain button and the water definitely drains without a problem then. Please help. The repair people don't seem to have the answer and we are left with a non-functional $1000+ machine. Tony

Here are your parts Parts for KUDE60FXSS - AppliancePartsPros.comThe given model number is missing the last digit so you will have to choose a unit from the Matching Model Numbers section. Could this be a problem with the control panel? Yes it does sound like a control board problem. Although you did not say it I am assuming that the drain pump dos not come on during a cycle and only works when you push the drain button. |
