Hello.
So what has 2 thumbs and closed the garage door on his dryer door?
This guy.
Anyways, the door "closes" but not fully, so the dryer thinks it's open. I used duct tape and the dryer works fine.
I can wiggle the door super duper just barely up and down, if not for what just happened, I would think that this is how the door always behaved.
I suspect I just need to "tighten it up" some, but would like to check with y'all. I tried tightening one of the screws on the chassis, but I am not strong enough.
Again. Dryer door was open ... garage door button was pushed ... good news is that it didn't close, but dryer doesn't work without duct tape ( yep, the light on the dryer is on without the tape ) ...
Thanks!
~Rhesus
PS Good news is that the garage appears to be totally fine ... the whole house is 5 years old.

Just my pinky can push it sufficiently to turn off the light.
I can't edit my post, should I delete and repost?
