I found my couplers are broken but also noticed oil leaking from my machine . it apeears to be from the bottom. Do I need to replace the clutch or transmission?

The only oil in this machine is inside the transmission case, so that is where you have the problem. It is possible the transmission lost oil and jammed and caused the coupling to break.
