The lower corners of the door panel and the top corners of the access panel are terribly rusted. I'm guessing that the water gets in over the year since my wife keeps leaving the door a few inches open (to let the moisture out).

I'd like to replace both the door and access panels but am not sure how hard it is to do it. Has anyone done it before? Can it be done with undoing some screws from the outside? I prefer not having to take the door apart for this. TIA.

Looks like black and bisque panels are available.

You will have to take the door apart to be able to replace the panel.
