Can anyone help me.

I spilled some water on the counter above the dishwasher. It got on the door (Exterior) and ran down. The numbers on the digital timer started to show partial lights on one number than another. I opened and closed the door which reset the numbers to blank. Tested unit and it washed fine this time and once more and then the partial numbers again. Now it won't reset, start, of give any door lights. Is the panel still good? Did the electronic control panel fry? How would I tst this or get a Schematic for this unit. Any help would be appreciated.

Your schematic should be inside the unit.

Bless GOD, Liberty for the ministry to prisoners in MO!
I saw your posting on Appliance Parts and thought you may have some God given insights and pray through power regarding my problem with a locked Kenmore dishwasher about 10 yrs old. The unit displays a flashing locked light continuously and when I attempt to start it it does not respond to any comands. I have unplugged and tried to reset it many times to no avail. I have had suggestions to push and repush all buttons on the control pad and also to look at the ribbon on the inside of the control panel and clean any connections there. I was also instructed to look for cracks in the wires of the ribbon. What i really need is pray through power from a Jesus anointed someone with appliance service dominion . I am a pastor and the place where the dishwasher is is my Holy Ghost retreat and the "House of Prayer" I will be going there December 12 to pray for what is coming and to dedicate 2009 to the LORD JESUS (and to try all thes suggestions). I would sure appreciate some prayer support from you. I am a good steward of God's blessings and would like not to have to replace this unit. GOD will bless your service to the least of His little ones as you continue to search the web for business. I know you will supply blessings to those who HE brings to you.
Be Steadfast always looking for the coming of the LORD JESUS

Unfortunately you did a big no no, ran the unit while wet.

Open up the door, remove that plugs from the control board and dry them with a hair dryer (medium heat) Leave it open for an hour and then do it again.

Would not hurt to get some electronics cleaner in a spray can and spray/clean the connectors. Do not plug them in till all the solvent has evaporated.

Put it back together and hope for the best.

I don't think I will bother God with this what with the economy and the war, he/she is probably pretty busy right now.

GOD bless you Mr Denman!
GOD is never too busy.... HE always answers sincere prayer!
HE is personally involved in what you do and what you think and HE definitely got a charge out of making you just the way you are. HE gave you your technical skills and ability. If you will recognize that you will realize the gift HE made you to be. Thank you for the suggestions you gave me concerning my Kenmore dishwasher... by the way It was a GOD thing that you even responded to my queries about its repair! You are in for a blessing because you supplied help to one of HIS little ones
