You either have a defective start relay which is an inexpensive part or a defective compressor which is expensive... Jot down the model number of your gibson and input it to the APPros parts site to identify and acquire a new start relay... If your compressor starts after replacing the relay then you may be in the clear and have your refrigerator back to normal.. Otherwise if the symptoms persist then most likely your compressor is bad... The decision to replace the compressor or the refrigerator is your next step... good luck, kooler
