The door on this oven will not open more than 2 inches. I believe the issue is with the hinges and not the lock mechanism. I tried the self clean trick and the lock opened, so that is not the problem. Perhaps a lock mechanism on the hinge has engaged preventing the door from opening? If anyone has a solution to removing the door in this condition, I would greatly appreciate your insight.

I managed to remove the door panel so I can see the part of the hinge with the spring at the top but I can't manipulate it in any way. Is there anything I can do to remove the door now?
