Hi,

I have a Maytag washer model# MAV7557EWW that is leaking water.

It appears that the water level setting has gotten screwed up. If I set the water to mini it fills up to the equivalent of a large setting. If I set it to small it will fill up equivalent to a super setting. Anything higher will overflow the tub.

Is this a problem with the water level switch or the water level setting dial?

Could it be as simple as checking to make sure there are no air leaks in the rubber tube connecting to the water level switch?

How would I go about opening up my washer to check these items?

Thank you in advance for any help provided!!

Thanks,
John

Any thoughts on this anyone? Even just some help on how to open the unit to inspect the parts that I suspect are bad would be helpful.

Thanks,
John
