Based on fact it won't agitate or spin, figuring it is a bad motor drive coupling? Someone mentioned it could also be the "agitator dog"?

Will appreciate comments and if it is the agitator dog, what are the steps to replace?

thanks

Is the motor running when it should be agitating or spinning? Does it drain? Agitator dogs only affect top half of agitator. If motor runs and it drains, then it's likely the coupler that has failed.

You ask whether the motor is running when it should be agitating or spinning and I'm not sure? It does fill properly and it does drain. Washer is not where I am now so I can't check it. It did agitate very, very slowly for about a minute until I changed the cycle, then it wouldn't agitate at all. Does this sound like the coupler?

Yes, faulty coupler could cause slow agitation.
