I have a GE front load washer that is flashing a code of F1E1. It doesn't want to start spinning under its own power and when it's loaded you have to take the top off and spin the drum by hand while holding the start button. Once it's on speed it works like a champ. So I pulled the troubleshooting manual from underneath the lid and it said it was the Electrical control PN AP4500468, ordered it from here changed it same issue. So my thought was well the drive motor is obviously giving up since out washer spin motor had just given out a couple months ago that seemed logical. I ordered it from here PN AP3094233 (279787) put it in last night, still the same issue. I am at a loss!?!?! We moved into a new house and it started doing it that night after the move. I screwed up and didn't check the rollers while I had the drum and everything apart and I should have known better. Does anyone have any idea of what this might be? I am going to take it apart tonight and check all rollers when I pull the new motor out so that I can return it. Thanks for any and all help.

Isn't that a Whirlpool dryer? Anyway, check the rollers. Was it hard to turn by hand? When you press start switch, does motor hum before you help it along?

Yes it is a Whirlpool, I apologize too many things going on at once. It is rather difficult to push by hand, and you can hear the motor hum and then something will click on the electronic control and it stops. As long as you get it spinning it will do the rest under it own power.

I am really leaning towards rollers and I am mad at myself for not checking them when it was apart.
