I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher that i was changing the front panel (cracked) I must have grounded something because the circuit board attached to it flashed, popped then smoked (yes, i did not turn off the breaker - doh!) Is the circuit board now no good because when i put it all together again there's no lights. Thanks Playit_47

Since the board arced and smoked you can probably find the component that failed on the board.
The problem is that appliance manufacturer's do not publish board schematics so the board will have to be replaced.
It may make more sense to get a new dishwasher depending on the board cost. |
