I place my side-by-side Kenmore refrigerator in storage. The storage facility had a flood now my refrigerator has mold. What can I do about? Can it be salvaged ? Help

A lot depends on how high the water came up.
Is it a top freezer or a side by side unit?
First of all does it run? Second does it use fiberglass or styrofoam insulation? Third where is the mold re: just in the fresh food side or also in the freezer?
Fiberglass insulation is ruined once it gets wet and is almost impossible to dry out.
Mold can be killed with a bleach solution.
Perhaps take a look at richappy's piost in the Forum Announcements section. |
