My KitchenAid fridge/freezer "over temp" light keeps coming on, and indeed the freezer shows temp of 25-30 degrees (f) which is way above set point. I push reset button but it comes on again soon after. This started happening right around the time I accidentally shut the water off to the freezer's ice maker. I have since turned the water back on but the ice maker stopped making ice and the over temp reset button keeps coming on. I also hit the "power" button hoping for some kind of "reboot" but no luck.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Check the condensing coils under the fridg for a lint clog and check the back and verify the condensing fan motor is running. If ok and the freezer fan is running, you probably have refrigeration problems, bad compressor/ refrigerant leak.
