Cycles fine to fill and wash. Pauses, no draining, then washes again. Pauses, no draining or humming. Goes into rinse cycle, pauses with no draining. Then leaves tub full of water. Is there a solenoid on the pump? Is it the pump drain assembly or the other motor.
I removed the drain line and it was not blocked but was narrowed, cleaned it out. No large remnants in the strainer after taking it apart.
Help please.

Here are the parts Replacement parts for GE GSD6660G00SS | AppliancePartsPros.comThe pump out pump is Item 325 in the "Motor-pump" section. Easiest way to check is with a meter, if the unit is getting 120 volts when it should and not running then the pump is shot. If it is not getting voltage then it could be the controller or a broken/loose wire from the control to the pump. If you can feel the pump running and it is not pumping it could be a clog somewhere perhaps at the flapper valve, Item 328 or the impeller may have come loose from the motor's armature. While underneath, check to see if you can find the wiring diagram/tech sheet. It will be useful in troubleshooting this and is near impossible to find on the net. GE likes to keep tech info a secret. |
