My Washer filled and then stopped working. I was told it was probably the lid switch or the control panel. I have pulled the lid switch. It has four leads: Neutral, line, motor machine. Which leads can I connect to test if lid switch is bad?

By jumping line to motor, the washer worked. Thanks for your help. Now I will order the part!

Unusual for it to fail that way. Usually, the fuse link blows and then nothing will work including fill. Do you hear the switch click when opening/closing the lid? May be a problem with the lid cam and plunger. Check continuity on the lid switch while operating it manually.
