My dryer will not stop running, panel doesn't light up and it doesn't heat. It was working fine until the installer switched the cord from a 3 prong to 4. I heard a pop when he plugged it in. He left and said he would be back to fix it but has yet to return my calls or return

Here are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire AEQ7000EG0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is the tech sheet

Here is the install sheet. It has info on 3 and 4 wire hookups so you can check to see what if anything the installer did incorrectly.

You did not say why the cord was being replaced but it would be a good idea to also check that the wall receptacle is wired correctly.
Could be you lost half the line (the L2 side).

First I would check to see if the unit is wired OK for 4 wire. Unit unplugged.
Then check power at the receptacle etc.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.

That did not work. The dryer still runs without any lights on the front panel and doesn't heat. The only way to stop it is to turn the breaker off. The wiring for a 4 way is correct; ie the colors match.
