washer starts on wash cycle for 5 minutes then stops and gives me f 05 reading which is a water temperature sensor (ntc) replaced it and still get same results. any ideas? anyone

There is likely an issue with the wiring harness or connection at the control. If you have a meter to test resistance, locate the wiring harness from that sensor and test its resistance, looking for around 12k ohms at room temperature. If it is much off from that, the harness likely has a break in the wire.

where do i locate this control, thx

Sorry, that control is mounted under the top panel. There are three screws along the rear edge of the panel, once removed it will pull back and off. The control is mounted at the back of the machine, right in the center. The plug for that thermistor is labeled TH on that board and has two wires in it. Remove that connector from the board and measure the resistance between those two wires.
