The brand is LG but the drop down menu dose not have that.. ok Im trying to take off the bottom freezer door. I need to replace the icemaker and for my big head to get in there the door needs to come off. I took the drawer out to expose what looks like a screw on both side that might be holding the plastic cover on the rail. I tried to un screw it but striped both of them on both sides. before I drill out the screw is this how to get the door off? I would hate to do more damage or unnecessary work if there is an easier way. Thank you for any input..

hopefully the icemaker I put in it will solve my problem.. Im assuming its going to take a while for the icemaker to cycle and make ice.. If its not one thing its another and with my luck its something else.

It will take some time as the ice maker needs to reach about 15* F before it will begin a harvest cycle. Since it is empty, the first fill will then need to freeze, so it will be at least several hours. I believe you and I share the same luck! :)
