Got new dishwasher. Stops and starts. Working fine but did not know if these stop and starts were normal or if we need technician out. Have had no new dishwasher for 13 years. The stops and starts seem like its trying to get water in or out multiple times ..it is not like our old dishwasher,

Disabled vet with very little money... so if this dishwasher is going to go out on us later we need to know.

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Tried here and the Sears site.
Please check it.
Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then an additional 8 digits.

The wait times could be a couple things.

Could be the unit is heating up the water to a set point temperature before continuing. Note that most units recommend that your hot water be set to 120 degrees F to keep the heating times to a minimum.

Could be a soil sensor. In this case the unit will empty and refill.
