Humboltrepairman might be from my province Saskatchewan. Too funny

Hi Captain, It was Sears USA. Did you check the temperature sensor? It is much cheaper than a new main board. There is a good video here that shows you how to test it: Oven Sensor Test - YouTube This one shows you how to remove it: Oven Temperature Sensor - How To Replace - YouTube The oven in the video is different than mine, and I had to remove a metal cover on the back of mine to get to the sensor. I paid $53 for my sensor, but it turned out not to be the problem. Luckily, Sears will refund you for the part if you return it within 60 days. Good luck - Barry

Good luck - Barry I haven't checked the sensor but considering the problem is absolutely identical to yours I thought for sure mine would be a board replacement. What are your thoughts humboltrepairman?

Also how do I clear the F6E1 fault code. The panel says to hit the start time button but I don't have one...

Sounds like Whirlpool and Maytag have similar boards. Strange that you don't have the Start Time button. My oven has a set of schematics in a little pouch in the top left back corner. These explain the meaning of the codes and how to reset. Right under the clock are Start and Cancel buttons. When I hit Cancel twice followed by Start, I get a menu that walks me through some settings until I get to the fault codes. Then it tells me how to clear them. Unfortunately, clearing them did not help.
