I'm having problems with the washer agitating, I have opened the front and inspected the belt and the 2 pulleys, they where both spinning. What are some of the things that I need to check? Please help.

The splines in the agitator coupler may be stripped out. Can you grab the lower agitator fins and rotate the agitator? If so, remove the agitator by placing a strap under it and yanking upwards forcefully to pop it off, then remove the bolt holding the coupler down. Fairbank56 I forgot to tell you that it does spin dry. I grabbed the lower agitator and was able to spin it. Should I still change the agitator coupler?
