I replaced the door gasket today because the top was leaking air. Now the door will not close. No suction to hold it shut.

Could of gotten the wrong part you sure you ordered the right model? Your best bet is to call a repairman because if you can't figure out a gasket you need an expert to help you before you ruin the gasket trying to adjust it and permanently damaging it and or the door hinge. Good luck
