Have a LG dlg2526w dryer. Dryer was not heating up. Had reapir guy come out. Told us we need a new control board. Ordered new board on my own. Plugged everything in the same way as the old one. Lights & display will not light up on with new board. If I plug in old one, the lights come on. I am at my wits end!! Any suggestions. Really don't want to spend $250 to have reapir guy come back out. Help me!! LOL!

I'm actually in the same situation as you!!! Did you figure anything out to fix this? I was thinking the other control board might need to be replaced as well to match the new main pcb board.

Figured it out! Apparently my dryer was too old and with the updated main PCB board that I got it wasn't compatible with the display and control board that was still in there. Replaced the display board and everything works great! Big shout out to ************************.com. They were willing to send me multiple main boards thinking that they were bad and also "try" the display board. If that didn't work they would have given me a full refund, even after everything was plugged in.
