Hello ,

Have an older Amana, started noticing a puddle coming from under the machine the other day. Took front panel off - ran a "normal" cycle and watched -- no leaking. Switched to large cycle and watched -- noticed alot of dripping and "streams" coming from the top of the drum around the guard cover screws -- water was evident in front and back. I am thinking it's the gasket and possibly the guard cover but i am just taking a shot in the dark -- Any thoughts????

Side note -- This washer was sitting in a garage (unheated - I live in Massachusetts) for a couple of years before I got it and hooked it up. Upon hook-up, water poured out from underneath -- I then had to replace the washe pump. Has been working fine for about 3 years.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a problem with the water level switch or the tube that goes to it, as it may be fillling up too high. Clean out the tube and if that does not fix things replace the water level switch and see if that takes care of the problem.
