Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/6/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		I received part # W10180607 from Appliance Parts which is a circuit board emitter for an ice maker. I put the part in last night but the ice maker is not working. I may need to purchase the corresponding receiver circuit board. Before I do that is there a way I can check to see if the emitter that was sent is truly working?

If I unplug the fridge for 5 seconds and then plug it in again then I see a steady red light on the LED at the receiver. A short time later I hear the ice maker motor come on for a short time. Within minutes the LED stays off and I can't make it come back on unless I unplug the fridge again. And no ice made. Should I try testing the ice maker?

Icemaker should now get 115 volts, if not, you have a bad wire in the fridg.
