GE Triton XL, GSD6760G00SS is stuck on the rinse cycle. The drain pump runs constantly. I filled the tub with water using a bucket, twice and when closing the door, it drains, but does not switch to the wash cycle. I also exercised the float switch, but not sure if that only functions for overflows. I tried holding the start/resent button constantly, but it won't shut off. When I open and close the door the drain pump just constantly runs.

I decided to try turning the breaker on and off. I first turned the breaker off, while the unit was off, then back on. Then I started the unit and turned the breaker off and back on after about a minute. That seems to have reset the control in some way. I then was able to run several rinse cycles and have successfully ran a full wash cycle.

I will keep an eye on it and if it happens again, I will investigate a new controller board. Thank you Simon for your input.

I will post updates if it happens again. :)

Still working after about a year and a month later! We run it 7-9 times per week.
