Ok where to start. My dryer start squeaking a few weeks back so i did what one post said do and replaced the Assembly - shaft (ballhitch). got the dryer all back together the squeaking is gone but now there is no Heat coming form the dryer. Need some help trying figure out what wrong with it now.:confused::(

dryers run on 220 if one side of the 220 is blown it will run but not heat or also you could have a bad heating element or broken wire to the element but im no expert a just had one do that to me in my case it was a blown fuse on one side of the 220 i hope this helps but remember i dont clam to be an exepert wally 412 perry iowa the hawkeye state

What fuse are you taking about on the dryer its self.

were the 220 is suplyed to the dryer

Got ya. All ready check that and it all good im getting 220 at the wall plug. But still no heat.....

Go back in there and check the heater element for a break. Maybe you left a wire off when you did the repairs. At any rate: You can get a restring kit for about $25. Just remember to evenly space the new wire so it will not burn out quickly. Remove all lint from the dryer and the drum. This is the main killer of a heater element. Lint on it causes a hot spot. 5300622032 Restring kit $25 The fuse mounts on the rear wall of the dryer in the upper right hand corner. If it blows the dryer will not run. Clean out the vent and any lint in the dryer or the fuse will continue to blow. 134120900 Fuse $12
