I have a new timer for the dryer but do not know how to remove the dial. The new part is threaded on the dial shaft end, is this true on the original timer? Does it just pull off? I am afraid to damage the dial.

Hi.

Pry out the cap in the middle of the timer knob.

Unscrew the nut and remove the knob.

Pull out the dial skirt.

Good luck.

Simon.
