Water flows from a small supply tube into the reservoir then fills the ice bin then overflows into floor. Turning unit off or unplugging unit did not stop water flow. Had to turn off supply at wall. Does this sound like the water valve OR the solenoid?

Jim, Yes, it does sound like a mechanical failure, inside the water valve
