on the refrigerator side it keeps freezing what is causing this and the ice maker and water on the front door do not since this has happened.

Hi.

Based on the information you have provided this control box kit should be replaced

After replacement defrost the fridge for 24hrs with the fresh food door open. Unplug the fridge (to defrost the water lines).

Post the results.
