The window glass on my upper oven haws recently broken. I have ordered the new part from Dacor(twice) and confirmed that the Model # is correct.
The part which includes both the inner and outer windows, gasket, and metal frame is slightly(maybe 1/16") too large for the opening and will not slide into place. I do not want to force it as the glass is tempered and may shatter. Are there any tricks or a special Dacor tool that will help me insert this frame without resorting to grinding the inner edge of the oven door?

Thank You
