I have a Kitchenaid Refrigerator (model KSRF26DSWHY1) that just started to not keep cold. The freezer just barely stays cold and the fridge side doen't stay cold at all. All motors and blowers are running and I checked the settings on both sides. Plus I cleaned all of the dust and hair from under the unit. Is it a freon issue and if it is, is it worth fixing? Or is there another way to fix it? Thanks Shawn

shawn, look at the back wall of your freezer and see if there is ice on it or some frost looking stuff. If so, you have a defrost problem. You will have to take the back panel out of the freezer to get to it and replace your termination thermostat. Also, while you are in there, use an ohm meter to check the heater / heaters to see if they are good too. If you don't get a reading on the heaters replace them as well. ;)
