I have a stackable GE gas dryer that runs just fine but is not heating. It was working normally up until a few weeks ago when the gas Co. moved the gas meter. I didn't have gas for a couple of weeks while they took their time doing the job.Anyway I ran the dryer on the no heat cycle quite a few times. Now that the gas is back on the dryer won't heat up on any setting.Any ideas? Thank you.

Is the gas valve turned on for the dryer? Can you see the igniter turn on and glow red?

Yes the gas valve is on. I haven't looked at the igniter yet,I need to find out where it's located and how to get to it.Sounds like a good project for the 4 day weekend.

Bottom right side. When you take it apart you'll find the tech sheet for your machine. It should have the instructions for starting the built-in diagnostic test.
